Tournament Officials

We actively mentor our members in a variety of ways and not just skiing. A number of world accredited coaches, judges, scorers and drivers have been developed within the club in its history. We would like to encourage our members who are keen to further develop their skills in officiating, please register on the World Barefoot Council site and complete the online quizzes.

Raising and Maintaining Officials Accreditation - To achieve new levels and maintain current levels of accreditation as a barefoot waterskiing official are included here.


National Coaching Accreditation Scheme

Coaching accreditation courses are regularly run through the Waterski and Wakeboard Association (WAWA) and in association with the QLD Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (QWWF). These will advertised on our Facebook page and sent to our members via email when they occur. More information at AWWF click here.

To gain your level one National Coaching accreditation the requirements are: 

  1. Online "Coaching Principles" ran in conjuction with the Australian Sports Commission
  2. Waterski and Wakeboard Sport Specific course (1 day)
  3. 16 hours of practical coaching experience
  4. Hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Updating and Progressing levels


There are three levels of coaching accreditation and must be renewed every 4 years. Please find the National Accreditation Scheme Update form attached here and the accreditation points required here.
